“Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man” (Psalm 71:4 NKJV). Those who have cruelly, viciously tortured a mentally-challenged schizophrenic should thank God we no longer live under the Law of Moses, for God’s justice dealt harshly with cruelty: “’If a man causes disfigurement of his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him- ‘fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has caused disfigurement of a man, so shall it be done to him” (Leviticus 24:19-20 NKJV). It is only enemies that hate with such a cruel hatred (Psalm 25:19). What they did is the definition of a “hate crime.” Christians recognize that, without “the kindness and the love of God our Savior,” people are “living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another” (Titus 3:3-4 NKJV).
