3-11-2016 The God Of The Seas

To a stubborn and rebellious people, God reminded them: “’Do you not fear Me?’ says the LORD. ‘Will you not tremble at My presence, Who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea, By a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it? And though its waves toss to and fro, Yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it’” (Jeremiah 5:22 NKJV). It was God Who ordered the rain and sea to overwhelm the entire Earth in Noah’s day, and destroy sinful, rebellious humanity. God “did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly” (2 Peter 2:5 NKJV). Every rainy day rainbow should remind us that God has promised never to destroy the Earth by flood, again.
