“Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, ‘I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.’ And they said, ‘What is that to us? You see to it!’ Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself” (Matthew 27:3-5 NKJV).
Suicide is only an option to someone who gives up on God. Forgiveness is with God. “If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared” (Psalm 130:3-4 NKJV). Christians must, “be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32 NKJV). Whatever you have done, if you repent, God can forgive it, and Christians must forgive you.
