6-26-2017 The Influence of Jesus Christ

“And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen” (John 21:25 NKJV). Jesus’ impact was too great for historians to deny it; His effect was too great for theologians to change it; His motive was too great for sinners to ignore it; His church is too great for apostates to smear it; His miracles were too great for false prophets to imitate them. The written Word of God contains more power than the world can hold, and the worldly can admit, for it teaches us “that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age” (Titus 2:12 NKJV).
