“Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it” (Genesis 2:15 NKJV). There has never been a time, since the Creation, when men were not expected to work. Adam was sent from the Garden of Eden with: “Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life” (Genesis 3:17 NKJV). This rule still applies, for Christ’s Law says, “we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10 NKJV). Those not willing to work should starve. Solomon wrote: “for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 4:4 NKJV). When envious non-workers outnumber, out-vote or overthrow the workers, the society falls.
