The Apostle Paul’s first recorded sermon reminded the Jews that God used their forefathers until Jesus Christ came. Those envious Jews put Jesus to death, but God raised Him from the dead (Acts 13:30 NKJV), no more to return to corruption (Acts 13:34 NKJV). Jesus, thus, was the firstborn to be raised from the dead, never to die again. “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses” (Acts 13:38-39 NKJV). The Law of Moses provided no forgiveness of sins, like Jesus. God raised Jesus, not Moses, from the dead. The 10 Commandments today cannot save!
