A small bit of graduation advice

I would like to give all the recent graduates a small bit of advice – as you shoot for the moon, don’t lose sight of Heaven.

Whatever phase of your post-school life you’re entering into, you’re entering into a world that’s ever-increasingly sinking into an evangelistic depravity!

The world is ready to offer itself to those who are willing to lose their own soul. Nothing new! But this is why it’s important to remember, as a disciple of Christ, that a cap and gown will never replace the higher education calling of a cross. Work hard without compromising your faith in the greatest teacher who ever lived.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:24-26 NKJV)
