Blessed as beneficiaries

And the people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this worthless food.” Then the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died. (Numbers 21:5-6)

O LORD my God ~ thank you dear Heavenly Father for this new day on which we remember how blessed we are to be the beneficiaries of your amazing grace and mercy that even comes to the worst of us sinners. Help us to never tire of looking upon Jesus on the cross as the only remedy for our sins that deserve the death penalty. We love you Lord for granting us the gift of eternal life as we trust and obey your beloved Son. Remove from our fellowships any who attempt to trivialize the power of the cross. We ardently pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
