“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace” Ephesians 1:7.
Mold was discovered in our home. Ignoring it or just trying to live with it was not going to solve our health problems, yet that’s what most try to do with sin. We needed the mold to be remediated. Any of our efforts were not going to do it, yet I heard many suggestions from good-hearted friends about what I should do. The more I learned about mold, however, the more I was convinced that my house needed a cleaning from an expert.
Mankind has a problem. A sin problem. The whole of the gospel from Jesus’ Incarnation to Intercession is God’s way to fix our sin problem. We have need of redemption. We have need for our trespasses to be forgiven.
Jesus’ work on the cross conquers that problem.
Only Jesus was able to bring us “redemption through his blood,” and only “in Him” are we able to know “the riches of His grace” that being free from sin can bring. Is your spiritual health compromised because your ‘house’ is full of mold? Are you tired of ignoring or justifying it?
Have you been baptized into Jesus to have redemption through His blood?
