Content with food, clothing and shelter

Two things I ask of you; deny them not to me before I die: Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, “Who is the LORD?” or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God. (Proverbs 30:7-9 ESV)

O LORD my God, you alone are worthy of the highest praise from hearts and lips that long to please you, if possible in this world below. Thank you for guiding us into all Spirit inspired truth that Christ wants us to use in order to live righteously. Help me to be content with food, clothing and shelter that you make available to me. Remind me strongly to repent, when I may dream about a castle on earth when Christ is already preparing mansions for all who trust and obey him for eternal life. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
