Journal Entry #11 – I have been looking at the world through different eyes lately. I have noticed that I am seeing things from a different perspective than when I first visited Paraguay. In my previous visits I didn’t pay much attention to street names or directions. Now, I am taking note of every little detail so I can learn to navigate the city. Before, I was fascinated by the curious methods and workings of the people I met within a new culture. Now, I am “scouting” to see where and how I can make a contact that may lead to a Bible study. During our earlier short term trips, I inquisitively observed a fascinating new environment that was vastly different from my home. Now, I look at everything realizing this is now my home for the next several years. Perspective is, indeed, subjective.
