Are you a safe person? Do you takes measures to ensure your personal and family safety? What do you do to that end? How do you protect yourself and your family? In what ways are we wise to look out for ourselves and for our loved ones? This is a broad question. Security is a big issue these days.
It was brought on by a story a few days ago of a family who managed to escape their burning home because their fire alarm worked. And a story I just now read of my son and his pregnant wife witnessing an automobile accident and missing being involved in it by about 10 seconds. He takes the wearing of seat belts to heart.
On yesterday’s Nudge, I wanted to end with this verse: “For every creation of God is good and no food is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving. For it is sanctified by God’s word and by prayer” (1 Tim 4:4-5 NET). Except for gar eggs.
