Dec. 31. Thoughts to Consider as we Begin 2019

Eccl. 12:13; Mt. 6:33; Rom. 8:28; Josh. 24:15; Acts 22:16; I John. 1:7; Rev. 2:10; II Tim. 4:6-8

As we reflect upon 2018 and look forward to 2019, let us consider our relationship with God. Please let us meditate upon the following verses in the order listed above and make any necessary adjustments needed in our lives.

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear Good and keep

His commandments, For this is man’s all.”

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things (necessities of life) shall be added to you.”

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who

love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

“…But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

“And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash

away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship

with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from

all sin.”

“…Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

“…The time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight,

I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for

me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will

give to me on that Day and not to me only but also to all who have loved

His appearing.”
