Dec. 31. Tomorrow Is Unknown

Jas. 4:13-15

Thank you for participating in our daily Bible study this year. I hope you have gained as much from our study as I have.

As we end this year, many of us have varied reflections as we view the past year. There were sorrows, disappointments AND happy times. Those are all in the past. Let us enjoy the pleasant memories and profit from the lessons learned, but put those events behind us as we look to the future.

Every day many plans and lives are interrupted by unexpected illnesses, accidents and tragedies. Some are fatal; some are life-changing and all have a degree of inconvenience. We are also presented with many opportunities for service or life improvement.

What changes or opportunities are we facing next? A thought for all of us to reflect upon as we close the books on this year and expect to begin a new year tomorrow. Live for God today for we don’t know what tomorrow will bring.

We plan to start the New Year by returning to the beginning of the gospels and to continue our chronological Bible study with the New Testament throughout the year.

Mark 16:15 says to go into all the world and preach the gospel. You can be an active and vital part of that if you will send me email addresses of friends that you would like to receive these studies. My address is ntpromise@gmail.com. You may have an even more active part in this work if you will FORWARD these studies to your email and Facebook friends. Sow the seed; some will grow.

Here’s hoping that you have had a happy, healthy and prosperous 2019 and that 2020 will be even more blessed for you.

Sincerely,

James

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020!!
