Discrimination That is a dirty word right I…

Discrimination! That is a dirty word, right? I am astonished at the power of the media to take a legitimate word and pervert its essence until if it is ever used it results in scorn. But discrimination means the ability to reason and distinguish between the good and the bad. To discriminate between restaurants keeps one from unpleasant dining. To discriminate between witnesses helps juries arrive at justice. A multiple choice quiz requires the student to discriminate between right and wrong answers. On the other hand, bigotry can be found in all, even the media. If the media chooses to regularly present religious issues as irrelevant or Christians as out-of-step with reality, is that just and fair or biased and bigoted? Speak not of whites and non-whites; we are all people. Rather discriminate between righteousness that exalts a nation and sin that is a reproach to any people. This is Just-A-Minute with Ed Boggess
