Our Dear Brothers, Sisters, & Friends, today is Christmas Day and we wish for each one of you a very wonderful day. My Lady and I will stay in together today because we are expecting rain, sleet, and then snow. It will be a great time to just relax and be together in our home. Very early today, about 4:30 AM, I wrote something that I hope will help us all to consider how wonderfully blessed we are by our Father through the gift of His Son, and not focus entirely on giving and receiving gifts and other things that draw our attention away from Him unto earthly things. I will share these words with you now.

“Jesus was not born on Dec. 25th, but He was born and we rejoice! He is not Santa Claus but He is the giver of all good and perfect gifts. He doesn’t come to bring us a toy, iPod, car, or something that will pass away, but He came to give us LIFE that will never end. He doesn’t come in the clouds on a sleigh pulled by reindeer, but He will come in the clouds to receive us to His home. He doesn’t yell, “Ho, Ho, Ho,” but He cries out, “Come unto Me and I will give you rest.” We don’t need to offer Him milk and cookies because He is the bread of life and never hungers or thirsts. He is not the figment of someone’s imagination, but He is real and came from the Father to redeem us. He will not leave us after Christmas Day to bask in our loneliness, but He is available every second of every day to give us peace. So, it is appropriate to sing, “JOY TO THE WORLD, THE LORD IS COME”; “SILENT NIGHT, HOLY NIGHT, ALL IS CALM, ALL IS BRIGHT”; “HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING, GLORY TO THE NEWBORN KING…”;”O COME, ALL YE FAITHFUL, JOYFUL AND TRIUMPHANT”. It’s OK to be thankful for His birth but it is important to follow His instructions when we assemble on the first day of the week to remember His DEATH. Thank You, Father, for sending Him, and if it is Your will, may He come soon.”

May God bless you with a wonderful day of serving God and being with your family.

With Much Love,

Ted & Barbara
