by Chris Underwood — I would like to think that there is more treasure than troubles in the homes we live.
Treasures such as love, faith, hope, prayer, kindness, consistency in the faith we have in Jesus Christ.
Treasure such as communication, compassion, and clarity of thought.
Treasures such as forgiveness, sacrifice, a smile, and sincere words of appreciation.
Each treasure when magnified by the treasure in God is magnified 30, 60 or 100 times when done in obedience to his will. It makes the home and the church the greatest treasure until the day the Lord returns to call us home to heaven.
Where your treasures so is your heart. Are you adding more treasure today in word and in deed?
Pray we all can grow in allowing treasure of the spirit of God. Pray God help us from falling down as we continue to add treasures, and reduce or eliminate as troubles come.
“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
Have a great day.
