“We do not give anyone an occasion for taking an offense in anything, so that no fault may be found with our ministry.”
2 Corinthians 6.3
Although Paul did not please men, he sought to remove all barriers to the gospel. At times, he refused to receive financial help, so others would not think ill. He commended himself as God’s servant, v. 4.
Today, we’re all about our rights. We give little thought to helping others see what a privilege it is to receive salvation in Christ. If somebody is offended, we think: It’s their problem.
