We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. (Romans 15:1-2 ESV)
Мы, сильные, должны сносить немощи бессильных и не себе угождать. Каждый из нас должен угождать ближнему, во благо, к назиданию. (Римлянам 15:1-2 Russian)
O LORD our God, beloved and most holy Father who is in heaven ~ hear our prayers of thanksgiving on this new day. Help those who are struggling mentally, physically, emotionally and especially spiritually during this time of so much uncertainty regarding the nature of the so-called COVID – 19 coronavirus. Help all the doctors, nurses, medical laboratory workers, and other scientific efforts to understand more clearly the nature of this threat and if possible Lord – a way to eradicate this menace from the earth. In some respects dear Father there seems to be more fear over this virus than is there was a large asteroid on a collision course with earth. Calm the fears of our leaders so they will think clearly and not be short-sighted regarding all possible methods of recovering from this disaster that impacts the lives of so many families. Lord, most of all we pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus who are already searching for ways to be of greater service to one another and our neighbors nearby and far away. We pray with faith, hope, and love in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
