Every year without fail the news will talk about a charity that gathers Christmas toys and other gifts for children and the elderly. And every year without fail the news will talk about someone breaking into that charity’s storage place and stealing everything that had been gathered for others.
No honor among thieves they say – no honor within them it should be.
Inconsiderate doesn’t describe it! I struggle to find a word befitting of the thief without finding a word that’s not befitting the language that Christian’s are called to use. A callous on the heart on the heart is what they have, and a knot on the head is what they deserve.
Were they never a child? I guess it doesn’t matter. Why worry with the past when greed controls your future I suppose. Maybe because their future will soon be their past, and the present that they’ll be stuck with will be one that they bought themselves.
