I asked this on Twitter and FB, but you’re probably the best people to ask: What OT texts ought to be included in a list of must-know scriptures? My list permits 56 separate texts. The texts should have more than a single verse, up to 20.
I’m putting together a three-year public reading schedule for congregations, using B.B. Baxter’s “100 Key Scriptures” as a base. He focuses on the NT, so I’m supplementing with passages from the Old, to stretch out to a plan for three years.
We plan sermons, so why not public Scripture readings?
