“Therefore, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance. (Acts 26:19-20 ESV)
O LORD God of hosts ~ hear our prayers of thanksgiving on this new day! Dear Father, help all people who sincerely follow your beloved Son to stand up and be counted along with the faithful in every generation following the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of our Lord. Give leaders in the local churches to appoint workers who will boldly proclaim the gospel message with love so that sinners will turn to Christ before it is too late. Silence the influence of those who refuse to teach that sinners must repent and wholeheartedly turn to you with obedient faith. We earnestly pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
