Michael Morton spent 25 years behind bars in a Texas prison, from 1986 to 2011, for a crime he never committed. 25 years ago he was convicted of the beating death of his wife, but DNA testing has proven he is innocent and the guilty party is a California felon guilty also of at least one other Austin murder. This is a tragedy and raises questions about others who may have been unjustly incarcerated.
