My favorite story of conversion in Acts? It would have to be the conversion of the Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts 8:26-40. Note that the eunuch was not only hungering and thirsting for the righteous Word (Acts 8:28; cf. Matthew 5:6), but had the desire to “understand” what the Scriptures were saying to him (Acts 8:30-31). The Holy Spirit provided just the right man (Philip), at just the right time, to help him
understand the Scriptures.
When the eunuch understood what the Scriptures taught (Acts 8:35), he eagerly and quickly complied with their teaching (Acts 8:36-30).
