Never crouch in doubt or fear

Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him. Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God. (John 12:41-43 ESV)

Con todo eso, aun de los príncipes, muchos creyeron en él; mas por causa de los Fariseos no lo confesaban, por no ser echados de la sinagoga. Porque amaban más la gloria de los hombres que la gloria de Dios. (Juan 12:42-43 Spanish RVA)

O Lord God, our God who lives and reigns forever and ever! Hear the prayers of all people who cry out to you with sincere praise and petitions for your mercy. Open the minds of all Christians so that we will never crouch in doubt or fear of any enemies of the Cross of Christ. Restore a great sense of confidence in the inspired Scriptures, especially in the minds and public confessions of faith of those who lead local churches and those who publicly proclaim the blessed gospel of our Lord. Humble those who only serve the Lord for personal glory while refusing to follow Christ for eternal life. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
