No sense of gratitude

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them. (Acts 16:9-10 NKJV)

Almighty God, our dear Father in heaven ~ thank you Lord, for the kind and generous way you bless all people on the earth – including those who have no sense of gratitude and even refuse to acknowledge your presence. Remain close to us Lord, as we struggle and sometimes stumble through the this earthly life. Open our hearts and minds to the Macedonian call that is regularly coming from people living near and far away. Help us to prepare ourselves and others to be more faithful as preachers of the blessed gospel of Christ that brings forgiveness and eternal life to all who trust and obey Christ as Lord. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
