I’m like Laura – I hate traffic. That is one reason I am a small town preacher. I left Nashville in 1980 and that was the last of the “big” cities for me. I live 9 miles out in the country and enjoy the early morning drive into Hardee’s to meet and talk with the other early risers. I wish I could say I always use the few minutes in transit to pray or something constructive. I don’t. Maybe that is another reason I am a small town preacher. It’s a simple life without much stress and hopefully with some good to contribute.
