Our soul is thirsty

and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 1:5-6 ESV)

(Apocalipsis 1:5-6 Philippine ABTAG1978)

O God, our God for whom our bodies hunger, and our soul is thirsty to know more about you and your eternal plans for humanity. Thank you dear Father for sending your beloved Son who is the radiance or your divine glory. Give us more of the pure wisdom of Christ our Lord so that we will not only know more about your will for us, but we will be better prepared to teach those who do not know about your spectacular offer of eternal life to those who will trust and obey Jesus Christ and live faithfully in the church for which he died. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
