In my office are two paintings; one is an original (by Ron Bartenan) and the other, I suppose, is a copy. The original is of the Sand Creek church of Christ, and what it might have looked like at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century (you can read about the historical significance of the place in Earl West’s “Search…”). It is not far from where I live. The other picture is a copy of someone’s paint of Jesus knocking on the door (Revelation 3:20). I believe I picked this picture up (or someone gave it to me) when my family lived on Guam (1984-1987). I have other things on the wall, but these are the one’s I like most.
