Seek First His Kingdom, and His Righteousness

Gary Cline, minister at the Eureka church, gave an excellent lesson today on priorities. In all the bluster and spin of life it’s easy not to keep first things first. Everyday we are bombarded by people who present their particular agenda as the number one priority. Many have that tact of the Borg, who were always declaring, “Resistance is futile!” (Star Trek analogy) Typically, I have found people who use high pressure tactics to coax/guilt me into doing something do not have the facts on their side. My response is to resist them all the more.

Let’s not be sidetracked by the world’s pseudo priorities. Our priorities must be His Kingdom and His righteousness.
