    Threats to The Great Commission

As time and technology progress, we need to abandon our naivete and realize the threats before us. Complaining about the rise of persecutions is normal, but not very productive.

In these times, courage is required to confront Satan and his forces. Yet, it’s worthless unless it’s combined with faith (Hebrews 11:6), perseverance (Romans 5:3) and the spiritual armament constructed by God (Ephesians 6:10-17). In addition, we must be wise, cautious and perceptive. (More …)

Excellent article! Things do seem to be in a “no turning back” mode right now. I pray for wisdom.

    7-6-2015 Rebel Flag Flap

White racists have associated the Confederate Flag with their cause so that history, hatred, and prejudice have become merged as if they were one. The rush to remove that flag from toys, clothes, a state capital, and TV has become a stampede! “Censorship” is the practice of officially examining books, movies, etc., and suppressing unacceptable parts. Why stop with a flag? God’s Word censors what is bad. “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like” (Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV). Flag-haters and racists, white or black, should come to Christ, “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one” (Ephesians 2:14). It makes a dull movie, but a wonderful society.
