“He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:11-13 NKJV).  Though God created all human bodies from the same dirt, with the same blood, each with its own soul, we must choose spiritually “to become children of God.” This is not by flesh and blood birth, or man-made religions, but only being born “of God” that saves our soul. Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15 NKJV). God’s spiritual family are those saved by obeying, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved” (Mark 16:16 NKJV).

1-6-2017 Who Is In Christ

“And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40 NKJV).  After His resurrection, Jesus added His baptism to belief: “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:16 NKJV). Paul wrote to the Galatians: “But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man” (Galatians 1:11 NKJV), and added: “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ” (Galatians 3:26-27 NKJV).  According to Jesus, none are saved before baptism, and according to Paul, none are children of God before being “baptized into Christ.” Are you “in Christ?”
