    11-21-2016 Global Cooling

“Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:8-9 NKJV).  God is “awe-some,” not some car, good food, nice clothes, or a store bargain! No one has created from nothing, like He did, or organized it by command as He has. Daniel said, God “changes the times and the seasons” (Daniel 2:21 NKJV). There is no “global warming” unless God has decreed it, not some politician with fake “science.” He said, “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22 NKJV).  The earth still remains, so “globally,” there are seasons.  After an extended summer with drought, our North American part of the “globe” is having “winter,” just as God decrees!

    The why of creation

This is part of a chapter out of a book I’m writing, entitled (for now) “Total Transformation.” You might find it to be of use.

Man was created in God’s image, in order to know his person and blessing, Gen 1.26-28. As the only creature to bear the divine stamp, man is able to relate to God. “Man meets and talks with God in the Garden of Eden” Gen 2.15-17 (NIBD). Adam and Even walked with God, Gen 3.8.

Because of their sin, they were expelled from the Garden, but the original intent was for them to choose God’s love, not to spurn it. Scripture mentions that God came to walk with them after they lost that privilege, highlighting even more the preciousness of this gift. (More …)

It happened before you did your post, but not too long before. After I read your post I thought it might add a little bit more food for the thought.

I started my lesson last night talking about the “Why?” phase that children go through.

I just sent the link to your daughter’s question to a group of Brazilians who speak English.

    9-30-2016 God Exists 2

Without the God of the Bible, no one can explain:

    1) The Creation: Of world-wide oceans, God “fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors; When I said, ‘This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!’” (Job 38:10-11 NKJV); 2) The Bible: After all efforts to ignore or destroy it, “the word of the LORD endures forever” (1 Peter 1:25 NKJV); 3) Jesus Christ: God in the flesh, “humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name” (Philippians 2:8-9 NKJV); 4) Christians: “who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator” (1 Peter 4:19 NKJV).  Can “atheism” explain these?

A literal picture of a day 6 creature

    5-23-2016 What “Prehistoric” People

According to the genealogy of Jesus Christ in Matthew 1:1-17, there were 42 generations from Abraham to Jesus Christ, and according to the genealogy of Jesus Christ in Luke 3:23-38, there were only 11 generations from Abraham to Noah, and only 9 more generations from Noah to Adam, or about 62 generations in all.   Since Adam & Eve were the first humans God made in the Creation in Genesis 1:26-30, and they were given “dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth,” then there never has been a time when:  (1) dinosaurs ruled the earth; (2) there were “prehistoric humans;” (3) the earth was “millions and millions of years” in the making!  Truth is in the Bible, not in some men’s mindless blindness!

    5-26-2016 Understanding God

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20 NKJV).  God is not in the Creation, but His handwork clearly shows that He has left His imprint all over the place!  “Understood” literally means, “using your intelligence!”  The evidence is in the Creation, but we must draw the conclusion!  David said: “The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1 NKJV).  Paul declared: “God, who made the world and everything in it” (Acts 17:24 NKJV).  Jeremiah spoke as we should when he said: “Let us search out and examine our ways, And turn back to the LORD; Let us lift our hearts and hands To God in heaven” (Lamentations 3:40-41 NKJV).

    4-26-2016 Contradictions #2

People try to avoid obeying God by pointing out where God’s Word contradicts itself.  “But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: ‘Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand’” (Matthew 12:25 NKJV).  If God’s Kingdom and Bible are “divided against itself,” they “will not stand.”  The Creation of the “heavens and the earth” in Genesis 1 & 2 are said to be contradictory.  “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1 NKJV).  “Created” means all matter used came from nothing.  Then what God did to rearrange this “matter” in seven 24-hour days is in Genesis 1:2-31.  Then details about the 6th day are given in Genesis 2.  There is no contradiction, only further detailed facts.  Truth does not contradict itself.

    4-5-2016 Who Is God #7

Everyone on Earth believes in a “god” of some kind, because The God made us to “seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him” (Acts 17:27 NKJV). No one but The God could have organized our Earth like this. “He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness” (Acts 14:17 NKJV). Although the Creation demands the existence of a “god,” only through the Bible can we learn who that God really is. Over His Apostles, Jesus prayed, not “for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word” (John 17:20 NKJV). Every Comparative Religion study course, or television special, that ignores Bible evidence has refused to compare the ordinary with the incomparable!

    3-28-2016 Who Is God #1

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1 NKJV). And He knew what He was doing, “For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: ‘I am the LORD, and there is no other’(Isaiah 45:18 NKJV). All science supports this fact, for true scientists only study this marvelous Creation. False scientists have “exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever” (Romans 1:25 NKJV). Above all the rest of His Creation, “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27 NKJV). Don’t let anyone make you think or live like you’re just an animal.

    9-21-2015 Godless Evolution

Speaking of Jesus as God in the Creation: “You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands” (Hebrews 1:10 NKJV). The false doctrine of “Evolution” tries to account for this creation without God. Without any scientific fact to support it, it assumes: matter always existed; after a chaotic “bang,” order developed; the guiding “god” was billions of years of Time; humans came from animals. Did I miss anything? The Bible points to scientific fact: matter had a beginning; God designed the order in creation; God created within a week; humans are specially made. Did you miss anything? Of Christ, it is said: “All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist” (Colossians 1:16-17 NKJV).

    8-28-2015 Only God Is

“By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth” (Psalm 33:6 NKJV). A short summary of the Creation found in Genesis chapters 1 & 2. Only God was “In the beginning” with power enough to bring all this into existence. “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible” (Hebrews 11:3 NKJV). “For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:9 NKJV). In Genesis 1, after the 10X “God said,” the entire world and its organizing rules, were brought into reality. Origin and Design did NOT come through the “god of Time,” a.k.a. “Evolution,” but only through the living God.

    7-29-2015 What Race Lives Matter?

Black lives matter” is a racist slogan. According to the Bible, all human lives matter, even those of the police! After Creating the animals, “the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7 NKJV). With Adam’s rib, God made “a woman, and He brought her to the man” (Genesis 2:22 NKJV), “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living” (Genesis 3:20 NKJV). It is a perversion of the Creation account to put skin above soul. After the Flood, from Noah and his 3 sons, and their wives “the whole earth was populated” (Genesis 9:19 NKJV). Those who value life only according to skin color are racists!

Hi Brother Polk, I am glad you raise this point. I frequently voice to all and sundry that we are all eternal beings, but our human bodies are temporary. Why should we focus so much of our lives, our attention, on skin colour, eye colour, hair colour, size, shape, etc?! We should maintain health, surely, but beyond that is vanity; and to judge a fellow human being based on a temporary body is based on hatred of yourself and/ or others.

GOD is love. That is what we should show to all humans on this planet, regardless.
