    ADJUSTING THE BIBLE

    In the October 22 edition of The (Nashville) Tennessean, Heidi Hall, former religion editor, published a piece in the “Faith and Values” column of the newspaper that carried the headline, “Nashville publisher’s new release isn’t your mother’s Bible.” On the day the column appeared I made some comments about it on my Facebook page, but want to add to those remarks in this edition of “Hugh’s New & Views.” (More …)

    No higher calling for a woman 

    It’s sad how today’s feminists have convinced an untold number of women that an “old-fashioned” family life equates to a dull, sad and failed life.

    Well I’ve got news for the woman who thinks that the business ladder leads to the highest calling of life for a woman – the title of CEO, CFO or COO has nothing on the title of MOM!

    Trusting God’s word and way has always, and will always, lead to the greatest blessings of this fleeting life.

    Happy Mother’s Day to all you godly women!
