Bible Riddle

This answer may not be as plain as others but I think you’ll be able to pick out the right one.

I can run but never walk. Wherever I go, thoughts are close behind me. What am I?

Need a clue? I already gave you one, but if you need another you can read Psalm 115:1-18 and look for the word that works best as an answer to the riddle.

Bible Riddle

Admittedly this isn’t the best Bible Riddle that I’ve used because the answer can be hard to see even when you know it, but it’s a riddle. Just keep in mind that answers to riddles aren’t as straight forward as they would seem to be. Here you go:

A man was born on January 1st, 23 B.C. and died January 2nd, 23 A.D. How old did he live to be?

Need a clue? Check out Genesis 18:20-33 for the answer. What do you think it is?

Bible Riddle

“Round like an apple, deep like a cup, yet all the king’s horses cannot pull it up.”

What do you think it is? Need a clue? Read Genesis 29:1-13 and John 4:1-14 and look for the word that they have in common that answers the riddle.

Have fun!

Bible Riddle

The answer to this Bible riddle may not be as shocking as last night’s super game final score, but in my opinion it’ll be a lot more fun because you can’t lose.

Weight in my belly; trees on my back; nails in my ribs; feet do I lack. What am I?

If you need a hint to find the right answer, you can check out Genesis 49:1-28. It’s a great section of scripture to use as a refresher for who the “original” children of Israel were. And remember, if you don’t want to know the answer to the riddle then be careful about clicking on the comments.

Have a great day!

Bible Riddle

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Bible Riddle so I’ll make this one easy.

Here you go:

What gets wetter as it dries?

Do you think you know the answer? Don’t over think it!

If you need a clue you can read John 13:1-9 to look for the word that answers the riddle.

Have fun – and remember, be careful about clicking on the comments just in case someone gives the answer but you’re not ready for it.

Bible Riddle

This riddle sounds tough but don’t over think it:

“The more you have of it, the less you see! What is it?”

If you can’t figure it out and you need a hint read these verses – Matthew 27:45 and 1 John 1:5.

Be careful about clicking on the comments in case someone gives the answer.

Bible Riddle

This is probably my favorite Bible riddle. I think it ranks up toward the top on the difficulty side. I’ve even had people write the riddle down and tell them that the answer is in the riddle itself, but to no avail. Here you go:

I know a word of letters three. Add two, and fewer there will be.

So what’s the answer? Look up Matthew 7:14 and 1 Peter 3:20-21 if you need a hint. Have fun!

Be careful about clicking on the comments if you don’t want to see the answer.

Bible Riddle

This is a good one:

What always runs, but never walks,

Often murmurs, never talks,

Has a bed, but never sleeps,

Has a mouth, but never eats?

What do you think is? If you need a clue then read these verses: Exodus 7:20 and Mark 1:4-5 and look for the word that answers the riddle.

If you figure it out then share your answer, but if you don’t want to know the answer be careful about clicking on those comments.

Have fun!

Bible Riddle

“If you have me, you want to share me, if you share me, you haven’t got me.” What am I?

If you need a hint look for answer in these verses: Ecclesiastes 12:14 and Deuteronomy 29:29.

Beware of answers in the comments.

Bible Riddle

This one isn’t too hard, but can you figure it out? Here you go…

“I am always hungry, I must always be fed, The finger I touch, Will soon turn red! What am I?”

If you need help figuring out the answer you can read Matthew 5:22, Mark 14:54 and 1 Peter 1:7. Look for the word that the verses have in common and you’ll have the answer.

As always, if you don’t want to know the answer be careful about clicking on the comments…the answer might be down there.

Bible Riddle

This is a good one…can you figure it out?

“It can be seen, but it weighs nothing. And when it’s put in a barrel it can make it lighter. What am I?”

If you need a clue you can read 2 Kings 12:7-12 and Haggai 1:1-7 and look for a word that the two sections of scripture have in common. You’ll find the answer in there somewhere.

Be careful about clicking on the comments in case someone gives the answer.

Bible Riddle

Here’s a tough one for you. I’ll give two scripture references in case you can’t figure it out. Look for the common word in both of the references and you’ll find the answer.

A box without hinges, lock or key, yet golden treasures lie within. What is it?

Hint: Luke 11:9-12 and Job 6:5-7

If you don’t want to know the answer be careful about clicking on the comments just in case someone gives it 🙂

Bible Riddle…See if You Can Figure it Out

This one isn’t too hard, but it should let you read about someone who doesn’t get read about very much.

Here you go:

With 24 digits, his phone number would’ve been hard to remember.

If you can’t think of who it is, especially if you don’t have his number in your cell, you can find a clue to the answer in 2 Samuel 21: 15-22.

Remember, the riddles are a play on words. Be careful about clicking on the comments just in case the answer’s down there.

Have a blessed day!

A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22)
