Paul pointed to the distinctive God of the Bible when he said, “We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them” (Acts 14:15 NKJV). 1) No human being should be elevated as “God.” It is as Jesus said, “do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren” (Matthew 23:8 NKJV). 2) “The heaven, the earth, the sea” did not always exist, nor were they haphazardly “exploded” into their orderliness. 3) Every living thing on earth must have come from “the living God,” not man-made deities! 4) The only explanation that makes sense, is: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1 NKJV).
