6-1-2015 Is There No Shame?

Josh Duggar’s 2006 police record was released about his teen-aged sins in 2002. His family at the time dealt with his problems with counseling and forgiveness. As the oldest of the children on “19 Kids and Counting,” his shame for his sins made him seek God as never before. The Learning Channel (TLC) has dropped the series, as has its sponsors, and HULU won’t even replay the program! “The Bachelorette,” 30-year-old Kaitlyn Bristowe, had sex with a suitor and said, intimacy, to me, is part of a relationship. I don’t know why everyone is so shocked by it.” Isn’t it sad to watch headline hypocrisy at work? Kaitlyn is shameless, Josh is ashamed. “A prudent man covers shame” (Proverbs 12:16 NKJV), and “the unjust knows no shame (Zephaniah 3:5 NKJV).

Let the proud be ashamed” (Psalm 119:78 NKJV).

Study gambling: Lawmakers Should Start Work Now

The above title was one of the headlines on the El Paso Times opinion page this morning: http://www.elpasotimes.com/opinion/ci_15444201

It’s sad that a newspaper wants to promote another avenue towards immorality (we’ve already got the Texas Lottery).

It makes one wonder if these folks actually think about what they are promoting. Do they actually believe that it’s a good means towards public education?:

Quote: “Summer is a good time for Texas lawmakers to review legalized gambling options for the better funding of public education.”
