If folks can put a man on the moon, why can’t they make a ball point pen that writes (every time)?
When I buy groceries and begin to write a check – the pen doesn’t write, or the ink skips where you can’t read the writing. It’s always been amazing to me, that the more simple a thing is, the more complicated man makes it.
Do you think that’s the reason why folks seemingly can’t understand the Bible — because they make something that is relatively simple (the gospel) complicated?
Since I’m the preacher of the hour today, my preaching point will be that evolution is still a godless theory devised by the vivid imagination of man. When we follow the God-directed path that the Bible talks about, we can rest assured that we won’t see a “dead-end” sign at the end of it (Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalm 23:1-3).

My style of communication is similar to the style found in the Bible – straight and to the point. Don’t mince any words, get it said, and get it done. Not a very popular style in today’s “politically correct” crowd, but one that is sorely needed. In His dealings with people, our Lord’s style was very direct and to the point. He didn’t need CNN or Fox News to interpret what he said – folks knew exactly what he said and the meaning thereof.
There is a point at which everything becomes simple and there is no longer any question of choice, because all you have staked will be lost if you look back. Life’s point of no return.
