    Welcome to Josh Gulley

josh-gulleyWe’d like to welcome Josh Gulley as the newest Fellow here on TFR. Josh teaches chorus at DeKalb County High School in Middle Tennessee and attends the congregation in Smithville.

Eugene has posted a number of Josh’s articles from the Smithville church bulletin, so he arrives as a figure already familiar to us. And he’s already made his first post today, which we hope will be the first of many edifying articles.

We had the privilege of meeting Josh earlier this year at Tenn. Bible College’s Spiritual Renewal Lectureship.

    Please make Josh feel welcome.

Has anyone else noticed that you now have to click on a post to “like” it? I don’t think it used to be that way…not a big deal, but I was just curious if it changed. Randal, is it something that can be included on the main TFR page? It’s certainly not a big deal, but I was just curious…

I am not sure how long it has been this way, Chad, but I like it. Every now and again I find it is better just to click the “like” than to comment.

Chad, I don’t remember the Like button ever being on the main page, but that would be ideal. I’ll check if there’s an option to put it there.

No problem…I was just thinking I’d seen in on the main page before. My, how technology has spoiled us…that one extra click is just too much! 😉

    Preacher’s Retreat

The TFR gang. Three are regulars, but one received an invite. Richard is a young preacher working in Iowa. Stephen is a great mentor to him. Apart from a tough day on Wednesday (illness), he loved being there. me, I was the brunt of much humor. I am the “Ho-Ho” champ!

Woo hoo! Glad to see this TFR group at the retreat!

Oh, and were there any discussions about TFR while there? Would be interesting to hear perspectives.

Actually, the only discussion was in brief (at least by me). Perhaps Stephen or John will have something to say with them. John was complimentary of me and my short notes that get on TFR. John appreciates any and all conscientious and genuine Bible students.

I trust you guys did the full-court press on Richard to accept the invite.
