There is no such thing as “Separation of Church and State,” not in the U.S. Constitution, or in practice! The U.S. Constitution never separates “church and state.” In practice, though, the Federal Government has used “faith-based charities” for years to accomplish some of their programs. In Tennessee, Catholic Charities administer the Federal program of immigrant resettlement. Why can pulpits be used to endorse government plans, while the government smothers any influence from “the faith?” “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them” (Romans 1:18-19 NKJV). No government prospers while willfully ignorant of God. Governments collapse with no faith to hold it up!
