Reaching spiritual maturity is a choice. It does not happen automatically. Maturity in Christ relies on instructing and teaching the message of Christ (Colossians 1:28). It is a full knowledge of God’s will and a devotion to follow it. As the believer labors toward this goal, several spiritual disciplines help to realize what it means to live a life fully devoted to Christ.
