In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. (Colossians 2:11-12 ESV)
(Colosenses 2:11-12 Spanish RVR1995)
O Lord my God, dear heavenly Father ~ thank you Lord for the outstanding gift of life that is never perceived as an ordinary blessing to be taken for granted. Walk with us on every breath we take, so that we will be more sharply aware of your influential presence in our daily routine. Open wide our eyes of faith so that we will be more effective in teaching the truth about the place of baptism in the stellar new life in Christ. Give us wisdom to include in our evangelistic efforts people of every nation, tribe and language group. Forgive us for the times when we may have arrogantly and ignorantly neglected to tell lost souls about the need to receive the grace of Christ by personal faith, repentance and baptism. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
