To Procrastinators

I don’t remember where I saw this, nor do I know the author. He seems to start out tongue in cheek and then get more serious. Or maybe the other way around.

A Few Notes to Procrastinators
By Gerald Cowan

Never put off until tomorrow what you should have done yesterday.

Tomorrow may be too late. Today may already be too late.

If at first you don’t succeed, you probably should have tried sooner.

While you are waiting for a more convenient time, an easier task, or a more attractive offer, the only opportunity you are going to get may be passing you by.

If anyone really made all the improvements he tells himself that he will make someday, he would be a source of amazement, to himself and the whole world.

If I applied to myself the advice I so freely give to others, I would have much less to regret and apologize for in my own life.

Note: Apparently, the article comes from here.

This post will go from Friendica to TFR (and Twitter, then to FB), and I’m breaking a rule of mine not to post on TFR twice or more in a row.
