Too marvelous for me

The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Romans 13:9 NRSV)

porque: «No adulterarás, no matarás, no hurtarás, no dirás falso testimonio, no codiciarás», y cualquier otro mandamiento, en esta sentencia se resume: «Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo.» (Romanos 13:9 Spanish RVR1995)

O LORD God, my dear Father in heaven ~ today, I am not so highly lifted up, and my mind is not occupied with the great mysteries of the universe. Some spiritual matters are also too marvelous for me today. Lord, help me to understand how we humans can ever live the good life that you expect of us. Forgive me of my sins and show me the way to forgive others. Open my heart wide to the cries for help from neighbors near and far. Show me how to demonstrate love for people living around me, especially those who are not of my ilk and clime. Destroy any latent prejudicial hatred that may be lurking in my heart. In the precious name of Jesus – who died for all. Amen.
