Two boys walking along the beach in Lynn…

Two boys walking along the beach in Lynn, Massachusetts, found a beach bag on a deserted beach. They picked it up and looked inside and found over $4000. Mark Norcross, 11, and Bekim Demaree, 12, marched straight to the police department and turned it over. The sergeant told them they would probably be rewarded. However, when the owner was located, she was irate. In a rage she complained no one had a right to take her bag and stomped out of the police office in a huff. One might think that two small boys would begin to question the wisdom of doing a good deed, however, another who heard of the situation, sent the boys a small reward. Whether appreciated or not, whether rewarded or not, it makes no difference. We must always do that which is honest and right. After all, even when scorned by those down here, our heavenly father smiles on those who honor his will. This is Just-A-Minute with Ed Boggess
